Benue state university shuts down

The management of Benue state university, Makurdi has shut down the school with immediate effect following protest by students early monday morning.according to the press release by the management through the office of Registrar. According to source the students where protesting that the school should reverse the grade point system from the four point system presently in use to the five point grading system. The management said they are shutting the school to forestall break down of law and order, and all students have been asked to vacate the hostel.
